Questions
How accurate are the alerts?
Each alert is written by AI from the official notice, and every alert links to that notice. Mistakes can happen, so always confirm with the official text before you act. If you spot an error, tell us: we fix the page and tell the subscribers who received that alert.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. Sagarlekh is an information service. For decisions about your shipments, licences or duties, read the official notice and consult your CA, customs broker or lawyer.
How does HS code matching work?
You give us HS codes of 2 to 8 digits. A notice matches if it mentions the same code, a longer code under it, or its chapter. For example, 3923 matches notices about 392310 and notices about chapter 39. You can also pick a sector. Major procedural changes that affect all exporters go to everyone.
When do alerts arrive?
We check DGFT daily. Paid subscribers get an email the same day a notice touches their HS codes, usually by 1 pm IST. DGFT publishes irregularly, so some weeks have no alerts. The free digest goes out once a week.
Which sources do you cover?
DGFT notifications, public notices and trade notices. We do not cover CBIC Customs notifications or BIS Quality Control Orders yet.
How do I upgrade, and when does it start?
Pay using the button for your plan and enter the same email you subscribed with. Your plan is switched on within 24 hours. Plans do not renew automatically; you pay for each month or year. We email you a renewal link 3 days before your plan ends.
Are there any extra fees?
No. The price shown is the full price you pay. We add no extra charges at checkout, and plans never renew or charge you automatically.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Everyone who signs up gets Pro free for 14 days: same-day alerts for your HS codes and a welcome email with the recent notices that touch them. No card is needed and nothing is charged. When the trial ends you move to the free weekly digest automatically. Customs brokers and consultants can email dharalabs.co@gmail.com for a Firm trial.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can stop at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you are not happy within 7 days of your first payment, email dharalabs.co@gmail.com for a full refund.
What do you do with my data?
We store only your email, company name, HS codes and sector to send your alerts. We never sell it. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we never see your card or bank details. Ask us any time to delete your data.
