Calcined Petroleum Coke import allocation open for Aluminium and CPC sectors
India's DGFT has opened applications for restricted import allocations of Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) for the Aluminium industry (0.8 million MTs) and Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC) for CPC manufacturing (1.9 million MTs) for FY 2026-27. Applications must be submitted online by 20 April 2026 and evaluated case-by-case by the Exim Facilitation Committee based on production capacity.
Action: Apply online on DGFT website under Import Management System > Import Authorisation for Restricted Imports > Apply for New Authorisation (category 'Import of Pet Coke') by 20 April 2026, with valid CTO and SPCB-certified processing capacity certificate as of 15.02.2024.
Who is affected: Aluminium industry importers seeking CPC and CPC manufacturing units seeking Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC) for the financial year 2026-27.
