Export factoring scheme simplified; UIN requirement removed

The government has amended the Export Promotion Mission factoring support scheme by removing the requirement to obtain a Unique Identification Number (UIN) before claiming support. Exporters will now be identified only by their IEC code. The notice also clarifies three factoring modalities (Advance, Revolving, and Bullet Interest), claim procedures, and confirms MSMEs can use this scheme alongside Interest Subvention simultaneously.
ActionIf you have already obtained a UIN for this scheme, note it is no longer required; use your IEC code instead going forward. If claiming support, file consolidated claims monthly via dgft.gov.in within two months of Factor data upload.
