S-PVC resin imports restricted above USD 0.766/kg for six months
India has restricted imports of Suspension grade PVC Resin (S-PVC) with CIF value exceeding USD 0.766 per kilogram, effective immediately for six months from July 24, 2026. The restriction does not apply to 100% Export Oriented Units, SEZ units, or Advance Authorisation Scheme users, provided imported inputs are not sold domestically.
Action: If importing S-PVC resin at CIF value ≤USD 0.766/kg, no license/restriction applies; if above this price and not an EOU/SEZ/Advance Authorisation user, imports are restricted for six months from July 24, 2026.
Who is affected: Importers of Suspension grade PVC Resin (ITC HS Code 39041020), except Export Oriented Units, SEZ units, and Advance Authorisation Scheme holders.
