EPM-Niryat Disha guidelines amended: assistance, disbursement, certifications
The Export Promotion Mission (EPM) - Niryat Disha guidelines have been updated to differentiate financial assistance by MSME size (Micro/Small up to 95%, Medium up to 80%), introduce two-stage reimbursement claims linked to certification and export evidence, and expand the eligible certifications list to 462 entries. Disbursements will now be made in two instalments: 50% upon certification completion and 50% upon proof of exports.
Action: Eligible entities must file reimbursement claims in two stages: RC-1 with certification/test reports and invoices within 2 years of obtaining certification, and RC-2 with export evidence within 2 years of first disbursement, or claims will lapse and may face recovery.
Who is affected: All MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises) involved in international trade seeking support for testing, inspections, certifications, and compliance under EPM-Niryat Disha, across all product sectors.
