RCMC exemption for exports under ₹10,000 FOB value
Small exporters sending consignments worth ₹10,000 or less (FOB value) no longer need an RCMC or Certificate of Registration to apply for authorisations and FTP benefits. This exemption takes effect immediately and aims to support small-value exports through postal and courier channels.
Action: If you export consignments valued at ₹10,000 or less (FOB), you may now skip RCMC registration for those shipments; verify your items are not restricted before claiming exemption.
Who is affected: All exporters sending low-value consignments (FOB ≤ ₹10,000), except those exporting restricted items under ITC (HS).
