India allocated 5,841 MT sugar export quota to EU for 2026-27

India has been allocated 5,841 MT of sugar for preferential export to the EU under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the year October 2026 to September 2027. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will manage the quota. Certificate of Origin will be required for eligible exports.
ActionExporters must apply to APEDA for Certificate of Origin recommendations from the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, Mumbai, to qualify for the preferential quota.
