544 Unused SIONs Face Suspension; Comments Invited
The DGFT proposes to suspend 544 Standard Input Output Norms that have not been used under the AA/DFIA schemes for three years. Exporters and importers can submit objections within 15 days if they need these SIONs or plan to use them.
Action: If your business uses any of the 544 listed SIONs, submit written comments with supporting documents to DGFT within 15 days (by 22-09-2026) explaining actual or planned utilization.
Who is affected: All exporters and importers using Advance Authorisation or Duty-Free Import Authorisation schemes who rely on any of the 544 listed SIONs.
