Online Certificate of Origin module launched for Agarwood exports
DGFT has launched a digital platform on Trade Connect ePlatform for issuing Certificates of Origin (CoO) for Agarwood exports. Exporters can now apply online with supporting documents, which are verified by Divisional Forest Officers and approved by State Nodal Officers. The system becomes effective from May 25, 2026.
Action: Agarwood exporters must register on Trade Connect ePlatform (https://trade.gov.in) using DGFT website credentials and familiarize themselves with the new digital CoO application process before May 25, 2026.
Who is affected: Agarwood exporters in India seeking to obtain Certificates of Origin for establishing legal origin and ensuring CITES compliance.
