Chapter 72 steel products added to MSE export credit subsidy
DGFT has expanded the Interest Subvention Support scheme to include 167 additional HS six-digit tariff lines under Chapter 72 (iron and steel products). This benefit is now available exclusively to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) exporting these steel items, covering pig iron, ferro-alloys, steel ingots, semi-finished products, and flat-rolled steel.
Action: MSE exporters of eligible Chapter 72 products should apply for pre- and post-shipment export credit interest subvention through their bank, referencing the updated Annexure-II A to Trade Notice 20/2025-26.
