India allocates 8606 MTRV raw cane sugar quota to USA
India has allocated 8606 metric tonnes of raw cane sugar for export to the USA under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) scheme for the US fiscal year 2026 (October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026). APEDA will operate the quota and issue Certificates of Origin as required. Standard export procedures and reporting requirements under existing notifications will apply.
Action: Eligible exporters must apply to APEDA for quota allocation and Certificate of Origin; APEDA will recommend entities and quantities to the Additional Director General in Mumbai.
Who is affected: Raw cane sugar exporters and processors in India eligible to export to USA under TRQ scheme.
