Six new SIONs notified for artemether, artesunate, doxycycline exports
DGFT has fixed input-output norms for six new pharmaceutical export products (artemether, artesunate, dihydro artemisinin, and doxycycline formulations). These norms enable Regional Authorities to directly issue Advance Authorisations without committee referral, speeding up approvals.
Action: Exporters of these six products should apply for Advance Authorisations using the newly notified SIONs (A-3702 to A-3707) with Regional Authorities.
Who is affected: Pharmaceutical exporters manufacturing artemether, artesunate, dihydro artemisinin, and doxycycline hyclate tablets under Advance Authorisation scheme.
