PSIA/PSIC process digitalized with auto-embedded signatures and enhanced uploads
DGFT has upgraded the Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSIC) system to reduce manual work and improve compliance. PSICs must now be generated only on inspection date, signatures/stamps auto-embed digitally, and photo/video upload limits have been increased.
Action: PSIA users must upload scanned signature and stamp images to DGFT portal (Services → Pre-Shipment Inspection → Upload Scanned Signature & Stamp) to enable auto-embedding in future PSICs.
Who is affected: All Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIAs), inspectors, and exporters/importers using PSIC for commodity inspections across all sectors.
