Raw sugar TRQ processing deadline changed to two months
This is a correction to an earlier notice about importing 10 lakh MT of raw sugar under TRQ. The deadline for converting raw sugar into white/refined sugar and selling it domestically has been changed from 31 October 2026 to within two months from bill of entry filing.
Action: If you have raw sugar TRQ allocations, note the new two-month conversion and sale deadline from bill of entry date instead of the 31 October 2026 date.
Who is affected: Raw sugar importers converting imports to white/refined sugar for domestic sale under the TRQ scheme.
