DGFT Trade Notice 13/2026-27 · 2026-07-14
Interest subvention export credit: five operational clarifications issued
DGFT has issued clarifications on the Interest Subvention Support scheme for export credit under Export Promotion Mission (EPM). The notice addresses five key issues raised by banks: submission procedures for revised claims, UIN generation timelines, claim filing deadlines, separate UINs for pre/post-shipment credit, and year-specific UIN requirements for running accounts spanning multiple financial years.
Action: Banks must submit revised/additional claims by 31.07.2026 for eligible export credit disbursed from 02.01.2026 onwards with UIN generated by 31.05.2026; for FY 2026-27 onwards, generate UIN within 15 days of disbursal and file claims within one month; use separate UINs for pre-shipment and post-shipment facilities; and generate fresh UINs for FY 2026-27 when export credit disbursed in FY 2025-26 remains outstanding into FY 2026-27.
Who is affected: Banks and exporters availing pre-shipment and post-shipment export credit under the EPM Interest Subvention scheme.
