Simplified expedited procedure for silver bullion import authorisations introduced

DGFT has introduced a simplified procedure for faster issuance of import authorisations for restricted silver bullion (ITC(HS) 7106 codes). Importers can now apply via self-declaration without concessions to get expedited approval. Existing pending applications can be revised; new/revised applications from 15 October 2026 onwards will be processed under this faster track.
ActionIf your application is pending on DGFT portal, revise it with self-declaration by 15 October 2026; submit fresh applications with complete details and self-declaration on or after 15 October 2026 to be eligible for expedited processing.
