14 new pre-shipment inspection agencies enlisted; 2 existing agencies gain instruments
DGFT has officially recognized 14 new Pre-Shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIAs) for issuing Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificates (PSICs) under FTP 2023. Additionally, 2 existing PSIAs are now permitted to add new inspection instruments to their approved list. These agencies can now issue PSICs online through the DGFT Portal.
Action: If you use pre-shipment inspection services, verify that your chosen PSIA is one of the 14 newly enlisted or 2 updated agencies listed in the Public Notice before engaging them.
Who is affected: All exporters across sectors who require pre-shipment inspection certificates; the 14 newly enlisted PSIAs (VCS Soft Technologies, Kaito Inspection Services, ARG Consultancy, Phoenix Chartered Engineers, Reeba Coremetals, ASR Pre Shipment Inspection, Best Mulyankan Consultants, ValueGuru Chartered Engineers, SVIA Consultant Services, United Engineering Services, Assure Chartered Engineers, Bros Engineering Services, Pashupati Consulting & Inspection, and Shikhar Job Placement).
