India and New Zealand FTA now includes Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQs) for four products from 20 October 2026. Importers must apply online via DGFT website using NZ export certificates to get TRQ authorisation before importing within annual quota limits.
ActionImporters must register on DGFT website and apply for TRQ Authorisation by uploading the NZ export certificate; no fixed deadline but quantities are limited per quota year.
Who is affectedIndian importers of apples (HS 0808.10), kiwifruit (HS 0810.50), albumins (HS 3502.11, 3502.29, 3502.90), and Manuka honey (HS 0409.00) from New Zealand.
