Wheat export quota review: submit utilization proof by August 31
India's DGFT is reviewing how much of allocated wheat export quota has been used by licensees. Exporters must submit utilization certificates and declare if they need more quota or want to surrender unused amounts by August 31, 2026. Unused quota below 50% utilization will be moved to a common pool for reallocation.
Action: Submit utilization certificate from a Chartered Accountant (showing exported quantity till August 26, 2026), shipping bill details, and any request for additional quota or surrender of unused quota with justification and export contracts/purchase orders to sefc-wheatflour-dgft@gov.in and file amendment in online portal by August 31, 2026.
Who is affected: All exporters authorized to export wheat (HS codes 10011900 and 10019910) under Public Notices 49/2025-26 and 05/2026-27.
