UIN generation window extended for export credits disbursed from January 2026
The government has clarified rules for the Interest Subvention Support scheme under Export Promotion Mission to address implementation issues with Unique Identification Number (UIN) generation. Exporters who received loans from 02.01.2026 onwards now have until 31.05.2026 to generate a UIN, even if generated after disbursement, to claim interest subvention support.
Action: Ensure your lending bank generates a UIN within 15 days of loan disbursal (from FY 2026-27 onwards), or by 31.05.2026 for loans disbursed between 02.01.2026–31.03.2026, and file interest subvention claims mapped to the correct UIN specific to disbursement year.
Who is affected: All exporters availing pre-shipment and post-shipment export credit under the EPM Interest Subvention Scheme from participating banks.
